Our first time making a ginger bread house with Miyah. We ended up getting the kit this year so it made it easy but it was not very creative. Miyah love it though!!

The last 2 years, Bill, Miyah and I along with our friend Leah went to the tree lighting at the Capitol building in downtown Raleigh. We just have not been able to get Ben and Alex to go with us. :-)

It is our family tradition to pick out our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. On our way there Bill and I were thinking that this was one of the last 2 times picking out a Christmas tree before our guys graduate from HS....then who knows where they will be!

This year Leah and Ben came along (Alex was working). We walked down to the Governor's Mansion first to trick or treat, then walked around our neighborhood. Miyah walked up to each of the houses by herself...she was not shy at all!

Our first year carving a pumpkin with Miyah...her and her dad did most of it, she had a lot of fun!

Miyah starting preschool two days per week...she loves it!

Miyah's Pepe and Grammy took us to a NH fair while we were there visiting...it brought back so many memories for me. We had a great time together!

We took Miyah to Build-a-Bear for her 3rd birthday. She chose a puppy instead of a bear to stuff. It was a lot of fun!

We visited Bill's family in August and they wanted to be able to celebrate Miyah's b-day with her so they had an early party for her.

This is the 2nd year year we have gotten together. Last year it was just Gabby(from VA) and Miyah. But this year Emilie(from GA) was able to come. We hope to get the girls together every year!

Our friend Leah (who is a photographer) offered to watch Miyah for me so I could get a little break during the day, while Bill was working. She took her to the park and took some cool pics of her while she was there.

I just thought she looked cute so I took some pics of her. :)

The girls dressed up in dress up clothes and we enjoyed a tea party together. They had lemon tea and cookies.

Having fun at a Teddy Bear Picnic

This was Miyah's first time strawberry picking. I took her and the little girl I watch. I think the best part for them was eating the strawberries!

We took a last minute overnight trip to the beach during Ben and Alex's spring break. We had a great time with family and friends!

Miyah enjoyed the easter egg hunt along with her friends Luke and Abigail.

This was Miyah's first time decorating easter eggs. She loved it!

I took Miyah to her first live show on a stage. The Go Diego Go" show. She had a great time along with her friend Luke and his mom.

Miyah's Mimi bought these silly glasses for her. She loves putting them on.

February 08

We dressed Miyah as a bumble bee for Halloween and yes, she went trick or treating. Our neighborhood had a Halloween parade so she got to wear it then and then she wore it again for trick or treating. She was so excited to be dressed up, she kept saying "buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!"

I took Miyah and Laura Lilly (the little girl I watch) to the pumpkin farm. They went on a long wagon ride to pick out their pumpkins, fed some ducks and farm animals, jumped in an inflatable bouncy thing(which Miyah loved, it was her first time) and they also went down a gigantic slide with me. It was a lot of fun!!

We were playing with Mr. Potatoe Head and Miyah decided she wanted to put the earrings on from Mrs. Potatoe Head. Then she put my flip flops on and got her purse. I thought it was so cute, I had to take pictures!

We took Miyah to the zoo today (Ben and Alex were in school so they didn't go). We had a great time...it was so much fun wathing Miyah's expressions! Then we came home and all had cake together.

This was the first time that Miyah had an ice cream cone by herself. She was so excited and loved it, of course!

Mom gave Miyah some star stickers and paper and let her do whatever she wanted with them. She had fun with something as simple as that!

Bill and I took Miyah to a park here in dowtown Raleigh. She went on the Carousel for the first time...she didn't want to go on first but then when it was over she cried to stay on. She enjoyed going on the train too!
